Peter Comito Sr.
Founder, President and CEO
Peter Comito Sr. is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Selectcom Telecom, which he co-founded in 2001. In this role, he oversees the company’s worldwide operations and product strategy. He also leads all sales, account management and supplier relations. With over 20 years of experience, Peter’s expertise and dedication have made him a recognized leader in the industry.
Prior to founding Selectcom Telecom, he created Union Telecom in 1993, which he later sold to Primus Canada in 2000.
Peter holds a bachelor’s degree in economics and political science from McGill University, and was appointed to the Mentor program in 1994.
Active in his community, he serves on the board of directors of the Italian-Canadian Community Foundation of Quebec and the Canadian Italian Business Professional Association.
Peter has received numerous honors for his contributions both inside and outside of the company. He is a three-time recipient of the Leonardo Award for Entrepreneurship.
John Masella
Founder and Executive Vice-President, Sales and Marketing
John Masella is the Executive Vice-President of Sales and Marketing at Selectcom Telecom. In this role, he leads the branding, and advertising strategy of the company, focusing on sales and business development. He also works closely with the executive team to leverage the best practices for mergers and acquisitions, negotiate carrier agreements and ensure revenue growth. He brings over 15 years of experience in telecommunications with a proven track record for lucrative advertising campaigns and strategic marketing.
Prior to co-founding Selectcom Telecom, John was Vice-President of sales for Union Telecom and residential sales director for Primus Canada’s eastern Canadian market.
John is involved with several foundations and fundraising organizations.
Peter Comito Jr.
Founder and Executive Vice-President, Operations
Peter Comito Jr. is the Executive Vice-President of Operations at Selectcom Telecom, which he co-founded in 2001. He is responsible for the daily execution of the company’s post sale services through key operational teams which include customer service, provisioning and the internet support departments. He also oversees carrier relations and account receivables.
Prior to co-founding Selectcom Telecom, Peter held numerous positions at Bell Canada, Bell Sygma and CGI. He studied at Concordia University before joining Peter Comito Sr., as co-owner of Union Telecom in 1996.
Peter is a governor of the Italian-Canadian Community Foundation of Quebec.
Stephen Hindelang
Vice-President, Corporate Sales
Stephen Hindelang is the Vice-President of Corporate Sales Selectcom Telecom. In this role he manages all sales teams and is responsible for customer development and strategic partnerships.
Prior to joining Selectcom Telecom in 2001, Stephen worked at Canadian Telecom Exchange.
Stephen holds a diploma in commerce from Champlain College and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Concordia University.
Anka Corluka
Vice-President, Finance
Anka Corluka is the Vice-President of Finance at Selectcom Telecom. Anka is responsible for all aspects of the company’s accounting matters which include financial reporting, human resources, accounts receivables and the collection department.
Before joining Selectcom Telecom in 2003, Anka worked as an assistant controller at Persona Communications.
Anka holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting Sciences from UQAM. She is a member of Réseau ESQ UQAM and the Réseau des femmes d’affaires du Québec.
